[Bug]: Tray icon disappeared on Xubuntu 20.04 with latest update
What happened?
I'm on Xubuntu 20.04 and this morning I refreshed the snap. Immediately after that, when I launched Discord, I noticed that the tray icon is now missing, even though Discord is running. It doesn't appear after exiting/restarting, or rebooting.
What should have happened?
The tray icon should appear as usual.

All-in-one voice and text chat for gamers that's free, secure, and works on
both your desktop and phone.
Snaps are confined, as such Discord may be unable to perform some of the
tasks it typically does when unconfined. This may result in the system log
getting spammed with apparmor errors. Granting access to the system-observe
interface when in the snap will enable the features, and thus reduce the
logging.

Same issue on Zorin Os. Very frustrating. Cannot easily kill Discord now.
Nearly similar here on Manjaro Linux (KDE)... it doesn't disappear completely, but is shown as broken-icon from KDE. I assume the reason is the same, only that KDE show an "not-found-icon" and maybe xubuntu didn't have that fallback.
If I kill discord, and start it again, the icon appear as expected.
I confirm the bug. I am using i3 and there is a "space" in system tray bar, I can interact with it, it opens the discord menu but the discord icon is missing. It's like a blank icon.
Is this issue still present in the latest version?
Hi @merlijn-sebrechts , it seems fixed for me.
Still testing on i3, the tray icon is present in system tray.
Great, thank you so much! Closing this issue then.
