discord after 30 mins of watching a stream or streaming video gets super laggy

im using the default discord app ubuntu has in there store witch is snap, and stable. after 30 mins it gets super laggy, THEN after 2 hours ITS SO UNRESPONSIVE i need to force close it in task man. and even task man starts lagging and i can hardly navigate menus even. my RAM is not the problem as im only using 40%. right after i force close it everything is better. i am using cinnamon as my menus. i have Ubuntu 20.4
