API endpoint GET /users/:username is broken
The API endpoint to view user information (described here) appears to be down. This is problematic for NetsBlox as we rely on it when automatically creating NetsBlox accounts when a user logs in using their Snap_!_ account for the first time.
As an example, check out https://snap.berkeley.edu/api/v1/users/brian
Is this very recently an issue? Not sure if something changed -- Michael BallFrom my iPhonemichaelball.coOn Mar 6, 2024, at 4:02 AM, Brian Broll @.***> wrote: The API endpoint to view user information (described here) appears to be down. I am not sure when it first started. It was recently reported when students were unable to login with a Snap_!_ account without first linking it to a NetsBlox account. (In this case, NetsBlox tries to lazily create it but was unable to get the Snap_!_ account information.)
Thanks. I’ll try to take a look soon though my schedule is pretty rough atm. -- Michael BallFrom my iPhonemichaelball.coOn Mar 6, 2024, at 11:03 AM, Brian Broll @.***> wrote: I am not sure when it first started.
