Description of the bug

This new version of UV-Tools crashes on startup and shows below error(s).

System.AggregateException: A Task's exception(s) were not observed either by Waiting on the Task or accessing its Exception property. As a result, the unobserved exception was rethrown by the finalizer thread. (Type Variant can not be retrieved as Array/Struct.)

UVtools 5.0.5 X64

This error is inside framework and FreeDesktop implementations, outside my range, can you try to upgrade the distro version?

Hello, Tiago.

This is openSUSE Leap 15.5. The latest version is Leap 15.6.

Sorry to say, but I have to stay with this version because of several reasons. One is that I need to stay on system-wide ISO-8859-15 locales because I use a mixture of Linux and wine. I was forced to lock a particular Qt library because KDE is not displaying and handling filenames with German Umlauts in later/latest versions. This is a production system and I cannot risk to run into troubles because of that.

But I wonder... Shouldn't an AppImage contain everything it needs in related versions?

It does, the problem is not the lack of a dependency but a problem in the ui framework, I will create a case here: https://github.com/AvaloniaUI/Avalonia/issues
