Hi! I really appreciate your work: your apps is very useful and i would really like to use it in my country (Italy) on my ubuntu touch phone.

Here is the info public website with timetables (it's used right now for android apps): http://www.viaggiatreno.it

there is no public api :( anyway someone managed to get the data: https://github.com/sabas/trenitalia https://sites.google.com/site/gbprogramming/viaggiatreno-vs-csharp

Hi, as far as i could research there are at least 3 public transports available in italia:

http://www.viaggiatreno.it/ http://www.ntvspa.it/ http://www.trenord.it/EN/

What are the differencies and why should i prefer one before the other?

Hi, that's correct, there are different companies of public transport in Italy (more of the three above)

In short: http://www.viaggiatreno.it/ refers to the most important company, with almost all of the local trains and 50% of High-speed trains

http://www.ntvspa.it/ covers for the other 50% high-speed trains in Italy

http://www.trenord.it/EN/ works only in northern Italy, actually their timetables are also covered from http://www.viaggiatreno.it/
