unable to run the default gmail settings
Hi I am Aadhithya I am writing an app and for the app I am using MVC Mailer 4 to send email but the issue is I am able to write emails to a folder biut whe I try to use the method1 in the webconfig which is uing smtp gmail with my credentials it throws an exceptions saying "unable to connect to remote server" .I am not able to figure out a solutiong for this problem why cant i even connect to default gmail smtp serve . I would be glad if I could some help . Thanks in advance !!!
Well the error message tells it all. At times your ISP may have a block on the gmail SMTP port.

Is there a work around to remove block for gmail port ? I would be glad if you could help.

I'd suggest check with your network admin.
