<> in Selectionfield Description break html

adding a selection field (possibly happens with othere fields too) and insert a less-than (<) or greater-than (>) breaks the field in the rendered form.

didn't look at the code, but by inserting a < i could fix the problem. so most problably description text does not get escaped and is inserted as "structure:"
