reported by Tyler: on OS X, the security stuff blocks the app from opening by default. You need to go into System Preferences > Security & Privacy to click a button before it will launch

The latest release cannot seem to be opened on OSX. It just says it can't be opened (no security warning pops up).

This is on OSX Catalina

Seems to run fine on my machine and I am on the latest Catalina. Can you send a screenshot of how it can't be opened?

Also make sure to right click on the application, and click open for the first run since this is an externally downloaded app!
