Media-Manager finished uploads doesn't count up

When I upload 500 image-files via Media-Manager and then again 500 image-files, after the first 500 are ready, then I see that the counter is not got higher, it shows for example "1upload finished", but I can see the more and more files are finished in the list, but the counter is at one position, see screenshot. After a "very long time" (maybe 5 minutes) the higher goes up.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Upload first 500 files and wait for finish-message
2. Upload again 500 files and wait for finish message
3. In background all the files are still uploading, but the counter freeze at "1" or "2".

Anyway it is not possible to drag more then 500 files to media-manager, if I do this, I see many error-messages popping up. Media-Manager seems to be slow when Uploading many files (up to 500).

there are still 300sec timeout issues for me, at least on singe file large file upload, for me when I upload a "large" (video) file > 200 MB on a lame internet connection (like 1 MB / 3secs or 100 MB / 300 secs) -> that will never succeed because of timeout ....
