Reimplement Smartavionics improvements as CuraEngine plugins

In Cura 5.5, Ultimaker introduced CuraEngine Plugins which allow the community to write plugins not only for the Cura front-end but now also for the Cura Engine.

In Cura 5,6 announced today, they included their first such plugin, Tiled Infill Generation which is similar in concept to those Smartavionics enhancements related to infills.

My questions are:

1. Would this allow Mark's enhancements to be ported over? and
2. Whether Mark has the interest and time to do so, and if not whether anyone else in the community has the interest and time to do it?

Hi, I don't have the time, interest or even the capability to port my infill code but, as always, people are very welcome to reuse any of the code I have written so if someone else fancies having a go, they have my blessing!
