Can't seem to get to integrate it with HA

Configuration warnings Integration error: smartir - Integration 'smartir' not found. Platform error 'climate' from integration 'smartir' - Integration 'smartir' not found.

I get this error no matter what. I tried so far rebooting with and without the config file. I tried cloning it in homeassistant/custom_components/smartir/SmartIR I tried cloning it in homeassistant/custom_components/smartir/

HA 2024.7.1
