Support for Fan with only one speed button

Does SmartIR supports fans which have only one button to switch between the three speed modes?

As fay as I understand the docs the control of speed is only possible when the fan remote sends distinct codes for each speed setting.

I can provide IR data if that's needed for the integration of this feature. 😉
