external bluetooth keyboard pinned to english

Hi,

As a german user, I would like to use my german bluetooth keyboard with the app on android. As soon as I start up the app and enter the editor, the keyboard layout seems to be pinned to english, even though I have setup the language of the keyboard correctly to german. In all other installed apps, the keyboard seems to work fine. It's just small basic not working as intended.

Also switching the language (shift-space, alt-space) does not seem to work.
