PMs are not always retrieved

I keep running into circumstances where bitlbee discord is not always properly retrieving PMs as it ought to do so. Sometimes the PM will just sit on the server, uncleared for little to no reason, until I reastart it.

This seems to happen sometimes when an actual discord client is opened, bitlbee will sometimes stop receiving the messages. But its not a sure thing.

It seems its not just PM it's messages in channels too and it happens all the time. Makes bitblee-discord completly unusable :(

I've had this problem with PM's that if someone starts a private conversation with me from the discord side I don't get the first message to bitlbee. This only occurs once per account on discord.

@zertap Only the first time per account, or just randomly once? I seem to receive PM's without issue on the latest master tag

I also find that if you use the regular discord client or even more frequently, using the mobile client, it'll stop receiving any messages including channel ones. One of the easiest ways to trigger this bug is to edit about 10-20 messages in a discord client.

I merged a pull-request that might (so not closing the issue yet) be solving this issue. Please update your bitlbee-discord (don't forget to restart bitlbee) and see if the situation got any better. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Seems to work now! (for the first message from an account on discord) I'll report if I encounter the bug again. screenshot of a succesfully received first message
