Failure: stratum.custom_exceptions.TransportException: SocketTransportClientFactory connection timed out

After installing the script i get a connection problem to different pools. I tried the default (slush) and BTC Guild.

I get the following: Trying to connect to Stratum pool at stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333 Unhandled error in Deferred: Unhandled Error Traceback (most recent call last): Failure: stratum.custom_exceptions.TransportException: SocketTransportClientFactory connection timed out

It is running on CentOS 6.

How can this be solved?

Also got this error several times. I have not successfully connected to any stratum pool using this proxy

The connection's timing out for some reason. I'm getting the same thing on litecoinpool.org. Getting a little fed up with this proxy, this is the 3rd bug I've hit today in it. And I don't even like Python. :(
