3D Track Map Idea
Hi @slowlydev, loved the project. The UI is clean, engaging and consistent.
I was inspired by Lapz which has an immersive app for Apple Vision, and thought about contributing with a 3D Map experience within F1-Dash.
I can't beat the beauty and handmade 3D Models of the tracks in Lapz, but I have a proof of concept running. It's using same props from the Map, so it could be a drop in replacement.
I appreciate any feedback, and if this is interesting enough to get the PoC going.

Yeah I was also thinking about implementing something like this and making it an option in the settings.
What I thought about was maybe mapping it onto a 3d world map kind of thing, but I haven't found free options or anything that would fit and work.
I like the initial GIF you sent.
If anyone is still interested, I am trying to make it work using R3F. At the moment I have a working map but it is very ugly and sectors and styling in general do not really work.
I hope to come back to you soon with something concrete.
As stated this morning, I made available a preview in #216. If you have spare time you can have a look at it. @slowlydev if you can let me know if you like it and you think it is worth spending some effort trying to improve it.
