Album Artwork Not Working With Discord Application ID or Imgur ID

Describe the bug Album artwork does not upload through Imgur Client ID or Discord App ID. Album artwork does not display without either of these present as well. Imgur Client ID still displays the MusicBee logo. Discord App ID doesn't display any image/logo typically, when a logo and assets are uploaded the album art does not replace it when something is playing.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open Edit Preferences
2. Click on Plugins
3. Click on DiscordBee configure
4. Enable upload album covers, and paste in Imgur Client ID (Without callback url, then anonymous) or Discord App ID
5. After some time, the artwork would realistically appear

Expected behavior The artwork does not appear.

• MusicBee Version: 3.4.8033
• Plugin Version: 3.1.0

Additional context I could very well be doing something wrong but I've done all of the steps outlined within the main post and looked at issue reports (both opened and closed) to try and narrow down answers however was unsuccessful in finding much to help the solution. If someone has had similar troubles in getting it all dialed and set, and something worked for you, please drop it below!! The only other plugin I have set up is last.fm syncing.

I also cant get images to work anymore. I forget when it started, but no images have been showing up for a bit. I finally decided to look into it and cannot fix it. It won't work with or without both the Discord App ID and Imgur Client ID. If anyone finds a fix let me know.

Deleting the two Imgur files DiscordBee-Imgur.album and DiscordBee-Imgur.cache in the below directory fixed this for me C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\MusicBee\DiscordBee

Try and clear the full MusicBee Art cache aswell by deleting every folder in this directory: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\MusicBee

Same issue over here, it used to work a few months ago, tried deleting the files someone mentioned before but no luck.

Discord recently changed the way images in rich presence are handled so I think until the author changes the plugin this wont work for anyone. It broke for me at the same time.

Images also broke for me despite Imgur API showing as healthy. Very frustrating.

just use Music Presence at this point it works flawlessly with MusicBee https://github.com/ungive/discord-music-presence

Also just started running into this issue. Deleting cache files did not work sadly. This might be related to 3.6 because this was working fine before I updated. Looking into the music presence app, seems like its missing certain functionalities / access to virtual tags.

@birdblacky69 after installing music presence, you also need to install a plugin for musicbee. See the Important section on this post: https://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=41833.0

Once you install both, the music presence menu should show MusicBee as a playing source:
