Imgur uploader health is false even with custom api
Imgur uploader health is false even with custom api. Started happening today. Doesn't upload artwork anymore.
Works for me on 3.0.1
I think I may have hit a monthly limit in that case. I've made a new application and am currently waiting to see if that worked. The health shows true now, but I still don't see any custom artwork. Will post an update here if I do!
It's been over 24 hours and unfortunately the additional application did not help. Now they both show the uploader health as being false.
It's December and my uploader health is still at False with both of my custom app IDs.
Hope there's a possible way to fix this? If not, perhaps allow musicbee to upload the artwork to the custom discord application assets like before. That always worked for me, and the old version still works, but that lacks the neat custom button :(
Mine has been false for almost 3 months now, every track I listen to usually has a separate cover art so I hit the rate limit really quickly, sadly I think my IP is rate limited now as using a VPN works with my app ID's.
@sll552 any chance on a Last.fm integration?
Sadly Last.fm implementation would be next to useless. Maybe about 10% of the songs I listen to actually have artwork on last.fm. We need a way to use our own images, directly from musicbee. If imgur proves to be troublesome, then maybe another host can be used, or just go back to uploading the files to the discord application assets like before.
Last.fm images are actually sourced by the community, I've uploaded some before. We need a real alternative to Imgur since the rate limit issue seems much more common now for people, and using a custom client ID is not that feasible as Imgur requires a phone number to even make an account. Also, it can't even send sms to some regions... myself included.

Actually, I found that you can create an Imgur account without using a phone number simply by signing up using a google account within the Android app. But I agree, an alternative seems necessary.
