Few Quick suggestions.
Hello. Really cool mod that you've showcased! I have a few suggestions that I think can get as close to real life as possible.
- The snowy biomes could remain snowy for 3 of the 4 seasons (spring, fall, and winter). Mountains, and very high terrain can remain permanently snowy.
- The desert and badlands could have like hot, extreme heat, hot, and warm seasons. Badlands rarely rain for higher wooded terrain. The extreme heat could play a role in causing faster hunger, or slowing down the player slightly.
- Jungle, Swamp, Mangrove Swamp, Warm Ocean, and Lukewarm Ocean biomes are either tropical or sub-tropical in the real world and should have the same season cycle as Savanna's
Hey hey, some more suggestions: (This is just to optimise, seasons in minecraft have been always my dream and I totally am impressed and really appreciate your work!)
- I would like to see a lot faster switching to the current season when entering new terrain,
- and have - as allready commeted - specific season cycles for more biomes than just the savanna. As example for tropics you could add biome variation as moist forests, wet jungle/forest (like the Australian ones) and dry tropical forests (with only a short rain period). The normal swamps do I see a buit different though, as they can get cold and snowy in winter, too.
- What also would be nice to soften the transition between snowy winter biomes to biomes like deserts or savannas to make it feel more natural and boadering biomes should have roughly the same cycle, because it's quite odd if you have lush jungle and next to it a snowy beach or frozen ocean. In general rivers should copy the cycle from the biome they pass through.
Thats all for now and I'm excited to see more infos and plans about this awsome datapack, Thank you for sharing your hard work!
