Autopsy 4.18 com problemas

Having this same issue! Running on Kali Linux 5.10.0-kali8-amd64. Will continue researching issue and report back if I find anything...

Well, troubleshot a bit two weeks ago (time of last comment), came back today and it's working fine. Not entirely sure what did the trick, but here's what I had to do:

  1. Reinstall the Sleuthkit java library
  2. Re-activate the Autopsy Core plugin
  3. Reboot? Might just be a logout/login, not entirely sure.

Step 2 is accomplished from the menu that you see in the screenshot by going to Tools -> Plugins -> Installed, check the core plugin, and click Activate. Things will kind of load, but properly loaded for me after I then closed and reopened the program. Hope this helps!

Followed your steps and re-activated Autopsy Core, seems to restore the interface.

I cleaned AppData on Windows and that restored my UI on 4.20
