Command Line Ingest needs GUI. Why?

Hi,

I'm wondering if anybody was able to run a command line ingest without a GUI? I run Autopsy on a Linux Server System (Ingest Node for a multi user setup) and was not able to create cases etc.

Autopsy started its life as a Desktop application and is built on the NetBeans Rich Client UI Platform. As we go, we're more clearly separating the backend from front end. But, the impact is that you do need to have an underlying server with UI capabilities.

just run it with xvfb...
