option to check config syntax

This is an enhancement request.

Many programs come with an option to check the syntax of the config file. This is useful in init scripts. A common option name is -C. Request: equivalent option for samplicate.

Some kind of "dry-run" mode would indeed be a good idea, because configuring samplicator can be tricky. Thanks for the suggestion.
