Install via Windows Store

Thanks for the awesome service!

Would it be possible to release this via Windows Store? I´m asking because many IT firms have their IT dept closing watching and declining .exe installs.

The thing I love for this is to get mic/webcam status and create automation to let my family know that they can´t come into the room as I´m in a meeting. Problem is, I can´t use it in my company´s laptop.

the Windows Store would probably be a work around this.

thanks!

I like this idea for an enhancement, I was able to install this on my work laptop and it works amazingly well but couldn't install it for my wife laptop due to lack of permissions. A windows store installation could circumvent this.

I'm not sure how much work and cost the developer would have to publish there though.

Edit: MS Store seems to have a one time developer fee of $19 and also requires the app to be packaged like described here.

Thanks for creating an issue! I have never worked with the Windows Store before so this needs more research. It would be a nice way to get around strict policies.

Are you able to use the "Stand Alone" Version?

https://github.com/sleevezipper/hass-workstation-service/releases/tag/1.0.0.40823

Not sure what limits your IT department has implemented, but this does not require admin rights to run.
