U+240D (carriage return symbol) is not included in 1.11 showcase images

I can see this symbol when I type it in, but it does not show in showcase images and my font viewing program.

This seems to be an application-specific quirk (I'm using xterm to grab the images). I've found no workaround for it yet, other than redoing the build system entirely to not use xterm.
