Duplicate of #270. This is unlikely to happen unless someone would contribute complete pull request.

Suggestion from your second comment could be doable but then you wouldn't be able to submit your edits unless the external editor worked with git.

I use mgit for mobile editing (granted, I don't do it very much), which works with an external editor.

I'm using OctoDroid version 4.5.0 the .md-docs are displayed very well. The only thing I'm missing is an edit function for files with txt type. *** for an edit function :-)
