Disabling unusued feature

Actually the data for the Built-In Telemetry UI are stored in memory. I have large amount of data and this became a problem. It will be great the possibility to configure a connection to mongodb!

Can i disable the savings of data in memory? Can i disable UI and API? I need only the Prometheus interface.

Are PRs welcome for that? I only need the metrics collection for Prometheus and will allow the UI in a different port.
