The Enter link dialog is displayed incorrectly
When adding a link and scrolling down the "Enter link" dialog is displayed over other content.
Steps for Reproduction
- Visit [(https://quilljs.com/playground/form)]
- Add more text to the text area so that a vertical scroll would appear
- Choose some text at the top and click "link" button
- "Enter link" dialog appears
- Scroll to the bottom of the text area
Expected behavior: "Enter link" dialog is not covering content outside the text area Actual behavior: "Enter link" dialog is hiding content outside the text area
Version: 2.0.3
P.S. I know that some z-index would probably solve this but in my opinion this should not happen by default and user should not be made to change .ql-link or other styles.
For what it's worth, I also had an issue with this dialog box appearing partially outside of the text area. In my case, the Quill editor was inside of a modal. If you scrolled down on the page before opening the modal, this impacted the calculations for the top style applied to the .ql-tooltip element.
I worked around it by overwriting the CSS:
.ql-tooltip.ql-editing {
height: 38px !important;
top: unset !important;
bottom: 20% !important;
}
Not ideal, as the vertical positioning is no longer right next to the text you're linking, but I thought I'd post here in case anyone else is having the same issue.
I encountered the same problem
For me it doesn't even display
