Not able to preserve formatting of windows wordpad document.

I am using quillJS rich text editor in AngularJS and if I copy some text written in wordpad document having either bullet point or bold text or both and trying to paste the text inside the quill rich text editor that editor is not able to preserve formatting of the wordpad document text.

Note: It also not able to preserve formatting of those text having some style on it from html page.

Version of QuillJS is v1.3.6

Please suggest me a better solution for this.

I working on an application developed on Angular and wrapped on Ionic-Cordova. I am facing similar formatting issues on copy paste. Tried updating the QuillJS to the latest Github commit and still I am facing the same problem.

• Copy bullets and coloured text from WordPad and paste to quill. Bullets are preserved but not the text colour.
• Type something in Quill editor, apply some formats (Bold, colour, etc.), copy paste the same text in the editor and the format is lost.

I tried doing the same on https://quilljs.com/ this website's demo editor. Even there some formats are preserved and some are not.

Anyone having any solution or someone tried to fix on Clipboard.js file?
