'-f' switch

Open gour opened this issue 15 years ago • 9 comments

Hello!

Is there any workaround for the situation when '-f' switch is required like in the situation below:

"haskell-cabal" is already installed. ==> ERROR: A package has already been built. (use -f to overwrite)

Sincerely, Gour

Paktahn cleans up after itself, so I'm not sure how to reproduce this problem. Can you give us full instructions on how to get to this message?

Does this happen every time?

It seems so...

Just tried again two times and here is the output:

Can anyone confirm that this bug is still present?

kingcons avatar Jan 16 '11 06:01 kingcons

It is with the paktahn-0.9.2-1.

gour avatar Jan 16 '11 06:01 gour

Just reproduced this myself with eggdbus. Slating this for 0.95.
