iOS: Mark as read/unread not persisted during the first 60 seconds

Open sebastien-mouchet opened this issue 1 year ago • 2 comments

Steps to reproduce

  • Open Lagrange for iOS,
  • Within 60 seconds, change the "read" status of one or more items in the Feeds menu,
  • Close the app (before or after the 60 second delay, it doesn't matter),
  • Re-open Lagrange.

Expected result

  • Items marked as read should stay read, and items marked as unread should remain unread.

Actual result

  • The "Mark as Read" / "Mark as Unread" action initially appears to work, but the status change is lost on restart.

Additional info

  • If you mark an item as read/unread during the first 60 seconds, and then another after the 60 second delay, the status of both items gets saved correctly.
  • The History tab also seems to have issues for navigation events that occur within the first 60 seconds.
  • This impacts the iOS version, but not the Windows version (I haven't tested the Linux, macOS, nor Android versions).

I'm using Lagrange 1.17 (7) 2024-01-16

Close the app

To clarify, how are you closing the app?

I close the app by:

  1. opening the App Switcher (swiping from the bottom of the screen to the middle)
  2. swiping the app up
