Improved bookmark organization: filtering by word/tag, sorting by date (v1.8 added folders, manual/alphabetic sorting)
I am desperately missing being able to create folders and stuff bookmarks into them. Alphabetically-sorted bookmarks were ok for about a day. Please consider allowing a user-selected order and adding folders.
I just saw #296... Consider this another vote for all features described there.
Fully agree. An improved bookmark manager is near the top of my todo list.
Personally, I open bookmarks via the URL bar so organization hasn't been a pressing issue for me. But I completely agree that as Geminispace grows, it's increasingly important to be able to organize, filter and sort your bookmarks in more versatile ways.
Please allow freeform organization. I treat my bookmarks as a 'desktop' of sorts and rearrange the order to make sense of things.
Yes, manual ordering is covered by #296.
I guess I'll just merge that into this issue to keep things simpler.
Thank you, sorry for pestering. I will keep my fingers crossed that it will be an easy fix, as my remaining option is keeping a textfile with links for copy/paste, or trying using a proxy with waterfox...
