When background images have a light background, the main text becomes unreadable.

Thanks @laffan - noticed this as well! I think that's the only very light image in the set, so it'll be gone soon.

Out of curiosity - did it still end up making you mindful of where you were spending your time?

Here is another light(er) image that somewhat affects usability.

What I think would be cool is for the user to be able to choose a custom image or an option to use a solid background color.
