There are many subfilters whose details I do not know and am unable to determine how to use them. For ex, what does rgbscalesubfilter does I do not know and by looking at the pixel calculations it is difficult to comprehend as I do not have any knowledge on this topic. Clear documentation within the package will help tremendously.
