Open Portable Browsers In Linux?

For my Portable Firefox I want to have it open Firefox Developer Edition. For my Portable Chrome I want to have it open Ungoogled Chromium. These are the directories to their executables on my Linux Mint machine.

/usr/share/Applications/Firefox Developer Edition/firefox
/usr/share/Applications/Ungoogled Chromium.AppImage

Does the portable browsers not work on Linux?
