Toots are duplicated in timelines

Describe the bug

Sometimes when I scroll down I see the same toots popping up when I did already see.

To reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Scroll for a long time
2. Experience it

Does this happen in the official app? I don't think so, but maybe

Does this issue also occur with the respective upstream release? (Please test using the respective upstream-xxxxxx.apk provided in Releases or at least using the current Mastodon version from the Play Store)

In case it does, please consider filing an upstream bug report instead. If this bug is seriously impacting your usage or you think I might want to try to fix it for Megalodon, feel free to still create this issue!

I regularly get duplicate posts at the top of my timeline when scrolling from old to new posts. This is what usually happens: I scroll (upwards) for a long period of time (like half an hour) to check all need posts. When I've read almost all (getting to posts just a few minutes old) I suddenly start seeing a lot of older posts I've seen just a while ago, and the posts have the old thing stamp. So after reading a post 4 minutes old, scrolling upwards I suddenly arrive at a post 24 minutes old that I've already seen. I'm using the latest pre-release version.

could you let me know if this is still happening in the latest pre-release? i've relatively recently added something that should check whether a post is already in the timeline before adding it again. @kallekn
