Connection closed upon certificate renewal attempt

Open atkulp opened this issue 6 years ago • 2 comments

I've been using this extension for over a year now and though not one single time has the web job ever worked, it's always worked manually. Suddenly, nothing I do will get me past a connection error when I get to the final "Request and Install certificate" step. I've tried uninstall/reinstalling it and restarting the web app several times. What can I do?

Update... this particular app service has three slots. The primary slot has this error. The other two do not.

It's resolved, but it doesn't make any sense...

I kept trying to uninstall the extension and had errors. Finally uninstalled, went to reinstall and see that there's no longer a list for the 64-bit version. So I installed the package that I could see, tried to browse to it and... got an error that "d:\siteextensions\letsencrypt64" didn't exist or inaccessible. Tried uninstall/reinstall a few times. Finally simply renamed the d:\SiteExtensions\letsencrypt to letsencrypt64 and it now works. Not sure what that's all about, but I have a valid cert again.
