Command-line converter?

Anyway to convert .MAX files to a modern format (.PDF, .PNG) from command line? I have a Debian but no windowing system.

Not at present. The functionality was dropped in the move from maxview to paperman

You could resurrect it easily enough. Or just get another computer :-)
