Comparison of un/weighted
This is one of the questions I've been interested in for a while -- if you optimise weighted modularity, and unweighted modularity (because LPAb+ reduces to the "normal" LP when all weights are 0 or 1), is the modularity higher? Lower? And what does it means?
I've used Qr' = 2*(W/E)+1, where W is the number of edges within modules, and E is the total number of edges (or it can be the sum of weights within modules and the total sum of weights), to compare two modularity partitions, I think it would give an interesting information (not to mention an intersting discussion about the ecological consequences if the results are different).
