Resizing Images does not function

[arch-linux]

I am unsure if this is a Hexo-wide issue, but I cannot seem to be able to resize any images inside of the body of any article.

I have tried other plugins to attempt to work around this, but none of those seem to work with this theme.

No HTML img sizing tags or markdown sizing tags function whatsoever and it seems that any image loaded just takes up maximum width on the screen. The same is true for embedded elements, like my visit tracker shown in the photo.

Seeking any advice here, I love this theme - just wish I could have resizable photos!
