Won't Load 2nd Account, Permanent Spinning "Updating Characters"

I have two accounts. The first loads fine. The second does not. Is there a standard debug approach documented, and what is the typical way to fix?

Parsing /var/logs/system showed that the issue was wrong API Key permissions. The API was wide open. I deleted the key and started a new one.

A good feature to add here is a notice via the GUI when the Key has invalid permissions. Shouldn't have to go to the console.
