Customize zoom behaviour (e.g. do not zoom on side scroll, use additional key + scroll to zoom)

When using Magic Mouse, the zoom can get out of control because even when I'm scrolling sideways since it also affects the zoom (similar behaviour with Google Calendar in Monthly View)

Would be great if we can do either:

1. disable zoom when zooming sideways (probably easiest to implement) or
2. allow additional hot key (e.g. have an option to enforce user to hold Cmd/Alt+Scroll to zoom)
3. (bonus) if image is zoomed, scrolling actually moves the image instead of zooming (similar behaviour with Preview)

An image can be zoomed by your mouse scroll wheel only when your mouse cursor is hovering the image.
