Add option to search through both archived and non-archived bookmarks

Sometimes, I forget whether a bookmark is archived or not and have to search through both lists to find it.

Currently, when bookmarks are archived, they do not show up when searching through the non-archived bookmarks and vice versa.

I'm not sure whether this is intended but it would be good to have an option to search through all bookmarks, whether archived or not.

To work around this, I currently leave all bookmarks unarchived, but that kind of defeats the purpose of having an archived list.

Would be happy to hear your thoughts about this. Thank you!

I understand the issue, but I think that would require quite a few changes in how application works. The fact that there are two pages now for active bookmarks and archived bookmarks came from the assumption that users will rarely be interested in archived bookmarks, and in that case it would be OK to search for a bookmark a second time in the archive page.

Adding a second search feature would be too confusing IMO. Maybe the regular bookmarks view could have a switch to either search for active, archived, or both types of bookmarks, and then the separate archive page could be retired at some point. The default however would still be to only search for active bookmarks, because that's just what users are mostly interested in. It would also require some changes to the styles to visually separate archived bookmarks from active ones, and to the bulk edit feature, which currently only shows either the archive or the unarchive action.

Let's see if others are interested in such a change.

I see, from your explanation, I'm starting to change my mind on my initial request.

From your perspective, it does make sense to separate the non-archived bookmarks and I guess this is just a difference in the way I use archived bookmarks. In this case, I might change the way I use archiving so it makes more sense.

I also didn't consider the confusion that would arise in viewing and bulk editing the bookmarks, and I don't think the increased complexity warrants the benefits of switching to such a layout.
