Futurized to work with Python 3

This is to add support for Python3, using the futurize command and manually fixing for "file" -> "open".

Actually, this doesn't cover the scraper portion, I did not think of this. Will work on it and then update, sorry!

@danielbellhv not that I am aware of. My PR above will work as a user, but the scraper won't, so you will have to rely on the pre-supplied json.
