Clicking "New Blank Document" Results in "Open With" Portal

Thanks for the wonderful and simple snap - real lifesaver working with my word-inclined colleagues.

Essentially - this works for all cases except when I click on the "New blank document" link, or other templates at the top. When I click those, the Ubuntu 18.04 "Portal" pops up, which asks me to select the application (note the error - "about:blank" as the link). This does work correctly when I log in straight through Chromium.

Recommended files - i.e., those I have uploaded in the past - appear to work. Happy to do any diagnosing that might be helpful.

Env: Ubuntu 18.04 SSO / Organizational Account for MS Office Chromium Version 86.0.4240.198 (Official Build) snap (64-bit)

Same issue happens with me. Except it is usually when the file is not on the "Recents" tab and I have to open it from OneDrive. And Ubuntu 20.10.
