not working under windows, provider required

i use mpv-x86_64-20220403-git-083ae8e.7z and vscode-mediaplayer v1.6.4

in vscode playing via podcast works when i pick youtube as provider from the drop down menu and search something nothing is found and an warning occurrs like "provider required"

following command works for me in cmd.exe mpv https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P28zHA7rjMQ

yt-dlp.exe is also set in system path and running it in cmd.exe also works

Hi @schussda thanks for this bug report.

My problem is that i'm not on windows and therefore i can't test the case.

But it's weird that you choose YouTube as provider and it triggers "provider required" error. I don't understand how this can happen and I don't have this error on my side even though I'm on Ubuntu.

Could you provide a video please ?
