Audio synthesis support for Arduino IDE?

Is it possible to use audio synthesis with Arduino IDE? Adafruit Circuit Playground knows nothign about Maixduino: "Please edit CP_Boards.h with a hardware abstraction for this board"

Is there a solution? I'm trying to find one, still working...
