Upgrading coffeescript?

terraform currently uses https://www.npmjs.com/package/coffee-script which is deprecated and locked at version 1.12.7. Latest coffeescript is available at https://www.npmjs.com/package/coffeescript (2.3.1). I discovered this because I was trying to use await/sync and discovered that harp was using transpiling with an older coffeescript. See https://coffeescript.org/#async-functions

I am also interested in coffeescript 2.
