Incompatibility with fairylights

Steps to reproduce:

Start the server

What I expected to happen: No FATAL errors in the logs

What happened instead:

It appears that EMC is not a fan of the fairylights mod. At first, I looked at the fairylights repository for similar errors, and per this comment by the fairylights dev: https://github.com/pau101/Fairy-Lights/issues/121#issuecomment-855263359 ; it seems that the issue is on the EMC side.
