Add Integration with Windows Taskbar (as a toolbar)
Hi. It would be great if this software could be used from taskbar. just like facebook chat for web, but in more windows-like way
i am not a designer but i tried to make a design for you to show you what i mean.. please somehow make the software work with the taskbar. people will love it!!!

i use foobar2000 with deskband controls
and customised it to my liking from settings
i also used a software which could make folders in windows 7 and 10 taskbars. those opened a small window/bin that contained the files/software shortcuts you can launch from there. it also had smooth animations...
i think you can somehow integrate with the windows 10 taskbar... connect it with my people (i dont suggest) or make this app integrate standalone. it loads faster and i like your software!!
Seems like a useful feature, but it's unclear whether Windows has public APIs to achieve this. Someone will have to look into that and if so, they need to open an issue on https://github.com/electron/electron (and comment a link to it here) about supporting such API. We cannot do anything about this until it's supported by Electron.

I have another idea it may be useful to you
you may occupy or preserve some area as the toolbar of your software, then place the buttons and all animations will be placed in the toolbar...
so, i mean people will just have to enable the toolbar

then they will be able to use it and customise it
look at the customisation option for foobar2000 deskband plugin...
literally everything can be customised. well, customisation is a matter for later time, now it is time to implement it in the taskbar...

Hi, I just happen to bump into it. I am looking for electon way to add a Deskband (legacy) as they call it.
I personally still use Netspeed Monitor which is an old app (not build using electron) but seems the API has not yet been removed. it still works in Windows 10. It's great and shows me my current internet traffic, You can set refresh time to every second.
Not sure whether it's still available, but there were similar Deskband toolbars for iTunes, may be MediaPlayer etc. with quick control buttons.
