Incorrect errors generated for missing badge and ToC in contributing.md

Linter is producing errors in the contributing.md file regarding a missing badge and missing or invalid table of contents. The list has a table of contents, marked "Contents" in the readme.md, as well as an awesome badge after the main heading in readme.md.
